Black earrings for women-Unusually Striking Vintage Banded Agate & Paste Earrings

A pair of immensely eye-catching vintage earrings, boldly set with Banded Agates framed by six bright hand cut Paste gems and teeny, tiny accents within the design. All just so gorgeous on the ear! The attention to detail is wonderful, as each gem has been hand faceted and the effect is delightful. In Silver which has been Gilded, the ear wires are of 9ct Gold and fasten in the Continental fashion; passing through from back to front. The face of the earrings measures 2.5cm by 2cm, and the whole measures 3.5cm from the top of the wire. There is a small amount of damage to one of the Paste gems, but very hard to detect without a magnifying lens. These have no marks and so we cannot be sure, but believe they are Continental in origin.
