An eye-catching pair of vintage Russian synthetic Alexandrite stud earrings in sturdy mounts of 14ct yellow gold. These sparkly ear blings have the characteristic excellent colour change from lilac/violet/purple hues through to dark olive green. (Synthetic Alexandrite is lab grown from corondum and cleverly mimics the colour change of the rare natural Alexandrite). Circa 1960's, they sit neatly in the ear with screw fix studs and would make a super gift.
