Circa 1860's, an antique pair of hand turned native Irish Bog Oak beads set as drop earrings mounted in 9ct yellow Gold with cups to the terminals. Bog oak is a type of wood that has been preserved over thousands of years in Irish bogs and can also be found in Scotland and England and was popular during the Victorian era carved into trinkets and souvenir pieces. 

They measure one and a half inches from the top of the wire.
